THE WATERING
SYSTEM
Our watering
system over the holidays did work well, as our plants are still alive, and
still looking green, and full of health. After making a few adjustments to our
window garden watering system before the holidays, it did turn out working a
lot better, as the drip went a lot slower, the water was evened out more. Also managing
to water the plants during the holiday helped, but in the end it was a good design
of the water system.
Aboitic factors that helped our
plants
Our prediction were pretty acurate.
The abiotic factor that we predict defineitley helped our plants grow were sunlight and wind.
The suns effect on plants
Ø
All plants use sunlight to make food (sugars) in
a process called photosynthesis. They store the food in their leaves and the
energy flows to other animals that eat the leaves. When leaves fall,
decomposers in the soil, work on it, with the help of moisture and heat from
the sun.
The winds effect on plants
Ø
Wind greatly affects plants throughout their growth.
When plants are
seedlings, slight breezes help them
grow more sturdy.

BIOTIC FACTORS
Producers
·
Air plants
Consumers
·
It is
highly unlikely that our plants will be consumed by the animals that eat of our
plants.
Decomposers
·
Bacteria - Streptomyces,
penicillin, bacillus, aspergillus
·
flies
PRODUCERS -> CONSUMERS->DECOMPOSERS
Sunlight
The plants feed off the sunlight in order to grow and create food for the
consumers that need to survive off those plants after those animal eat the main
food off the plant the decomposers come to eat the small bits and pieces of the
plant e.g. bacteria and flies. They come along to eat off the plant but
sometimes it will help the plant grow.

CONTRIBUTION
JOSEPH PEPLER: I was the administrator for the group, and for the blog, and also supplied information to the group, and in the window garden, I supplied the wood, bottles, and took part in the building process.
JONATHAN BORDER: I gave a lot of information for the blog, as well as building the window garden, and also supplied plants for the window garden, and a bucket for receiving water
LAWRENCE MASHA: I gave information for the blogs, and also the wow factor, and in the window garden i supplied plants, and also helped build, and also did the water system.
